PRACTICE

OUR PRACTICE

STONARI’s practice is focused on projects where natural stone has a defining role in the architecture, experience and long-term value of the property. Our work spans ultra-luxury residential and boutique hospitality, with particular expertise in bespoke and technically ambitious natural stone applications.

ULTRA-LUXURY RESIDENTIAL

Natural stone advisory for exceptional private residences, villas and high-value residential properties where material selection, bespoke execution and long-term integrity are fundamental to the architectural intent.

BOUTIQUE HOSPITALITY

Natural stone strategy for distinctive hotels, resorts, villas and hospitality environments where material character, guest experience, durability and operational performance must work together.

BESPOKE NATURAL STONE DESIGN & APPLICATIONS

Specialist advisory for bespoke and custom natural stone applications where material selection, design intent, technical feasibility, fabrication and execution must be resolved together. From statement surfaces and architectural stone elements to one-of-a-kind features and highly tailored details, STONARI helps determine what is materially and technically possible and how to translate that intent into execution.

ADVANCED NATURAL STONE DESIGN

Exploring what becomes possible when natural stone expertise meets contemporary design, technology and fabrication. STONARI advises on technology-enabled design, complex geometries, digital and advanced fabrication, material innovation and biophilic design expanding the creative and technical possibilities of natural stone.

STONE AS A VALUE STRATEGY

Natural stone as part of the long-term value equation of exceptional property.

For private investors, family offices and owners of high-value property, natural stone is not simply a finishing decision. It can be an asset-value decision.

In markets where exceptional real estate serves simultaneously as a residence, income-producing asset and store of long-term value, material quality contributes directly to how a property is experienced, positioned and differentiated.

Natural stone — appropriately selected, specified for its environment, sourced for consistency and executed with precision — can strengthen perceived quality, architectural distinction and the enduring character of a property. For premium rental assets, these qualities can also contribute to the experience and market positioning that support higher-value occupancy.

The objective is not to spend more on stone. It is to allocate capital intelligently to the stone decisions that materially influence the quality, longevity and positioning of the asset.

The difference between two properties competing at very different levels of the luxury market is rarely explained by bedroom count alone. It is communicated through architecture, location, service, experience and the quality of the materials guests encounter. Natural stone can be one of the strongest and most enduring of those material signals.

For investors structuring a new construction or renovation, specifying stone for a property intended to perform at the premium end of the rental market, or developing an asset where natural stone is a significant part of the architectural experience, timing matters. The earlier the stone strategy is considered, the greater the opportunity to protect design intent, allocate capital intelligently and preserve long-term value. Natural stone advisory therefore creates its greatest leverage before key material, specification and sourcing decisions become difficult or costly to reverse.

STONARI works with private investors, family offices, developers, architects and design teams to align the natural stone programme with the property’s architectural ambition, operational requirements and long-term value strategy.

WHY STONARI

STONARI represents the project’s interests.

As an independent natural stone advisory practice, it brings clarity to consequential stone decisions.

“The bespoke stone that arrives on site should be the stone that was imagined and it should still look that way in twenty years.”

For the buyers, investors and guests who will experience it, that continuity is not an aesthetic detail. It is the material evidence of quality they came for.

01 –

Independent judgement

STONARI’s recommendations begin with the requirements of the project its architecture, performance criteria, budget, programme and long-term objectives. Suppliers, quarries and sourcing routes are evaluated against those requirements, allowing the appropriate solution to be identified without being constrained by a predetermined material or supplier.

02 –

Upstream positioning

STONARI intervenes before stone specifications are locked, before contracts are signed, before the decision becomes irreversible. Therefore, this is where stone expertise has the most leverage & the only point in a project where it can prevent a crisis rather than manage one. Mapping the decision architecture of a stone programme — identifying exactly where flexibility ends and irreversibility begins — is the work that makes upstream advisory concrete rather than conceptual.

03 –

Import-dependent environments

Some environments have no local fallback. Stone logistics are measured in weeks, not days. Climate performance is non-negotiable. STONARI understands what stone specification means under those conditions.

04 –

End-to-end fluency

15 years across the natural stone supply chain, including 13 working closely with 5-axis CNC fabrication, connecting material and design decisions with fabrication capabilities to ensure what is envisioned upstream can be achieved downstream.

05 –

Stone as asset, not just material

Natural stone is among the most durable luxury finishes available and among the most visible to buyers or guests who know quality. Specified correctly for climate, sourced consistently and executed with precision, it increases the perceived value, timelessness and market positioning of the finished property. STONARI brings the stone-specific aesthetic direction and sourcing intelligence that translates design intent into an asset that performs — visually and financially — over the long term. The goal is not simply to source the right stone. It is to enhance what the right stone does for the property, the project, and the people who will live in it.

06-

Stone decisions that outlast the project

Natural stone is permanent in a way that most finishing materials are not. What is specified today will be walked on, touched, weathered and evaluated by future buyers or guests for decades. STONARI’s advisory is structured around that horizon — not just what works on delivery day, but what holds its integrity, its consistency and its value over the life of the property. That long-term thinking is what separates a stone programme that ages well from one that becomes a visible liability. Preserving that value — material, aesthetic, financial — over the life of the property is the horizon STONARI works toward from the first conversation.
